Looking out the train window

I spent new years in Charlotte with my good friends Jessica and Bryan. I was so impressed with Charlotte, it just seemed to have a lot more going on than Raleigh. I rode the train back home on new year’s day – which was, for some reason, incredibly exciting for me. I rarely have the option to use public transportation, so I was pretty thrilled to be able to keep miles off my car and just sit back and read for 3 hours rather than having to deal with driving.  I foresee many more train rides to Charlotte in 2009
